Stress Awareness Month

April is Stress Awareness Month, and it’s the perfect time to pause and share a few of our favorite ways to unwind and reset. Life moves fast, and it’s easy to forget how important it is to take a breath (or several). Here are a few simple things we do to decompress 👇👇 (Snuggling our donkey, Eeyore, definitely makes the list—nothing like some quality donkey time to lower your stress levels. 😂)  

🧘 Get moving – One of the best ways to melt away stress is to move your body, even just a little bit each day. I’ve been loving my compact treadmill lately—it’s small enough to fit in my space, and I can get a few miles in while catching up on my favorite shows. It makes movement feel less like a task and more like a treat. The key is to find something you actually look forward to doing. Whether it's a walk, a yoga class, or some tennis with a friend, movement is a powerful way to clear your mind and boost your mood. .

🛀 Take a warm bath – When all else fails, a hot bath can work wonders. It’s one of the easiest ways to practice self-care. Dim the lights, turn on a calming playlist, and drop in some of our magnesium bath soak. It helps relax tight muscles and calm the mind—especially helpful before bed.

We’ve been navigating some new health challenges in our family lately, and I won’t lie—it’s been tough. Stress shows up in unexpected ways, and I’ve had to be really intentional about carving out space to take care of myself (and the kids). These little rituals have been small but powerful ways to bring a bit more peace into our days.
